Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide immediate and high-quality medical care to patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions.
- Perform clinical assessments, initiate life-saving interventions, and stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
- Handle trauma, cardiac arrest, poisoning, respiratory distress, and other emergency scenarios as per ACLS / BLS / ATLS protocols.
- Coordinate with specialists, nursing, and diagnostic teams to ensure timely and efficient patient management.
- Ensure accurate documentation of clinical findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes in the emergency medical records.
- Participate in patient triage, monitor response to treatments, and make decisions regarding admissions or referrals.
- Maintain and follow emergency department protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines.
- Train and supervise junior doctors, residents, and emergency staff as required.
- Contribute to quality improvement programs, clinical audits, and departmental meetings.
Desired Candidate Profile
MBBS with MD / DNB in Emergency Medicine or MBBS with relevant experience in emergency / critical care.0 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a high-volume emergency department or trauma center.Certification in BLS and ACLS (ATLS preferred).Strong clinical judgment, quick decision-making, and ability to work in high-pressure situations.Excellent communication, teamwork, and crisis management skills.Skills Required
