We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Consultant I - Finance Reporting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of broking support professionals and ensuring the highest quality of financial reporting and documentation for our treaty reinsurance business. This is a crucial position that combines technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem-solver who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
As the leader of the broking support team, you will oversee and guide your colleagues in performing a range of critical functions, including :
- Document Preparation and Analysis : Manage the preparation and technical analysis of treaty data and underwriting information. This includes creating and producing contractual documents like slips, cover notes, wordings, endorsements, and addendums, as well as presentations and term sheets.
- Data Management and Compliance : Ensure the accurate and timely input of data into our systems (e.g., GRiDS). You will be responsible for maintaining meticulous records and ensuring all processes comply with company and market rules and procedures.
- Placement Support : Support the broking team in all aspects of treaty business placement. This involves preparing and analyzing statistics, creating program structure charts, and maintaining placement correspondence and documents. You'll also track the progress of placements and provide updates as needed.
- Team Leadership and Development : Be responsible for the quality of all functions performed by your team. You will provide training and technical advice to your colleagues, fostering a high-performance environment. Your leadership will be key to helping the team navigate complex tasks and maintain expertise.
- Technical and Advisory Support : Serve as a subject matter expert on treaty contract wordings, providing guidance and assistance to both the broking and broking support teams. You will also assist teams across Asia with technical support, second-checking, and signing documentation when required.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work with various internal and external stakeholders, including clients, reinsurers, and colleagues across our global network. You'll support brokers in their follow-up communications and assist with special acceptances, ensuring all documentation is current.
- Process Optimization : Drive the optimal use of Aon's business systems, ensuring that business practices are efficient and aligned with current standards.
