The Assistant Program Manager PNAFE will assist in designing, managing, and scaling impactful programs and campaigns across India. Reporting to the DGM PNAFE, the APM will play a key role in driving departmental operations, monitoring outcomes, and expanding reach. The role requires strong facilitation, planning, implementation, and reporting skills, and entails frequent collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Assist GM / Director in achieving departmental goals including quality benchmarks, sustainability, and budget targets.
- Lead departmental process improvements and efficiency initiatives. Drive expansion and strengthening of PNAFE / KCK programs across India. Supervise and manage daily operations and implementation plans within the department.
- Research, design, and implement patient-centered programs and advocacy campaigns. Lead planning and coordination for KCK activities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Facilitate inter- and intra-departmental meetings; assign tasks to team members based on roles and
- Mentor and coordinate Chapter Heads and KCK members for regional and national initiatives. Encourage membership among young survivors and families post-treatment. Plan and execute reintegration and livelihood programs (e.g., internships, fellowships). Mobilize members for advocacy efforts and participation in policy-level forums.
- Assist in curriculum development for fellows and other capacity-building programs. Monitor, evaluate, and document progress of projects and campaigns. Develop and submit detailed proposals and impact reports.
- Maintain and regularly update KCK member and activity database. Issue membership cards and coordinate secretariat functions. Represent the KCK group in internal planning and inter-institutional forums.
- Prepare annual calendars for KCK with input from senior management. Draft and submit event reports, success stories, and proposals for approval. Ensure documentation and archiving of all program and campaign activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills :
- Education : Masters in Social Work (MSW), MPH or Masters from a recognized institution Experience : 2 3 years in social work, preferably in NGO or Development Sector
Skills & Competencies :
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Internet) Good communication (spoken & written English) Knowledge / experience in pediatric oncology preferred Ability to coordinate with healthcare teams and beneficiaries Data management and report writing Empathy, problem-solving, and cultural sensitivity
Key Competencies :
- Strong leadership, planning, coordination, and communication skills. Ability to work with diverse stakeholders including survivors, caregivers, and medical professionals. Willingness to travel across India and participate in extended programs.
