Job Overview : We are looking for a

highly motivated Application Tester.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, ensuring quality, identifying defects, and improving product reliability. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Execute

manual test cases

to validate application functionality, performance, and security.

Identify, document, and track

bugs and defects

using defect-tracking tools

Work closely with

developers, business analysts, and product managers

to understand requirements and define test cases.

Perform

functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing

on web and mobile applications.

Ensure

comprehensive test coverage

by designing and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and test data.

Participate in

UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

and assist in resolving issues reported by stakeholders.

Maintain and update

test documentation , including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Ensure adherence to

QA best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements .

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field .

Strong understanding of

SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

and

STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) .

Experience with

manual testing , and basic knowledge of

automation testing tools

like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG is a plus.

Familiarity with

API testing tools

(e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and SQL for database validation.

Exposure to

Agile / Scrum methodologies

and version control tools (e.g., Git).

Strong

analytical and problem-solving skills

with a keen attention to detail.

Good

communication and teamwork skills

to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have : Knowledge of

performance testing tools

like JMeter.

Basic scripting skills in Python, Java, or any other programming language.

Certification in

ISTQB Foundation Level

or any relevant QA certification.
