Job descriptionDefine and implement test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks across projects Manage and mentor a team of manual and automation QA engineers Set goals, review performance, and support the growth of QA team members Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java Lead API testing efforts using tools like Postman, RestAssured, etc. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to align on quality goals Oversee defect lifecycle management, triaging, and resolution Track key QA metrics and communicate quality status to stakeholders Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test coverage, process, and efficiency Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java Expertise in REST API testing with tools like Postman, TestNG, RestAssured Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and automation strategies Proven experience leading QA teams, mentoring engineers, and assigning tasks Familiarity with Agile / Scrum and sprint-based delivery models Hands-on with JIRA, Git, CI / CD tools (e.g, Jenkins) Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage timelines, people, and quality Effective communication for cross-functional collaboration and reporting Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and environments Knowledge of security testing and vulnerability identificationss Good to have : Hands-on experience or knowledge of Cypress ISTQB or equivalent certifications are a plus Bachelors / Masters in CS / IT or equivalent practical experience
