Job Title : GCP Data Engineer

Location : Gurugram / Gurgaon - Hybrid

Experience : 4-9

Job Type : Full-Time

About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and ensuring smooth data flow across systems to support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT pipelines on GCP.
  • Work extensively with Python for scripting, data processing, and automation.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
  • Leverage GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Pub / Sub, Cloud Storage, and IAM.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data workflows.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of data pipelines.

Required Skills :

  • Proficiency in Python for data engineering and scripting.
  • Strong SQL skills for handling large and complex datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP data engineering tools :
  • BigQuery
  • Dataflow
  • Pub / Sub
  • Cloud Composer / Airflow
  • Cloud Storage
  • Good understanding of data architecture, data flows, and best practices in cloud data engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

    • Good to Have :

  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) will be an added advantage.
