JOB ROLE- DevOps Engineer

Required Technical / Functional Skill Set - Bitbucket, Teamcity, UCD, Docker, OpenShift

Location- Chennai / Pune / Kolkata / Hyderabad / Bangalore

Experience required : 4 to 10 yrs.

Must-Have

• Good understanding of DevOps concepts, practices, containerization
• Hands on experience in CI / CD pipeline automation
• Experience in Sonar, code coverage tools like Jacoco and configuring them in CI / CD pipeline
• Experience in Build / Deployment toolsets - Bitbucket, GIT, Maven, Teamcity, UCD
• Experience building Docker images
• Experience in deployment management in Openshift POD’s, Openshift memory, CPU analysis / management, Route creation in OpenShift, Enabling security in OpenShift like SSL, TLS etc.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

CI / CD pipeline development and integration - Creation of scripts along with writing and configuring TeamCity jobs, UCD components for automated deployments to multiple environments.

Troubleshoot problems across different Technology layers such as networking, database and applications to identify and correct operational problems.

Setting up Containers in a Cloud environment, which includes being knowledgeable in Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Work as a team member or individual on multiple projects and assignments relating to application initiatives along with meeting committed delivery dates.

Proposing and implementing enhancements to improve system performance, availability and resiliency

Perform general systems maintenance tasks such as but not limited to managing disk space usage, changing passwords, and applying patches.

Work closely with systems administrators and engineers to meet team goals, and improve processes and apply best practices.

Managing development workflows using revision control such as Bitbucket.

Participate in Pre-Production tasks such as change request creation, deployment plan preparation etc and Production deployment activities for application releases

Mandatory Documents - 15 yrs full time and regular Education.

Note- Do not apply Freshers and EX TCSers.
