Position Overview

Are you a publishing professional who thrives at the intersection of research excellence and academic strategy We're looking for an Independent Researcher and Publishing Specialist with a proven record of success in Cabell's Journalistic-listed or ABDC-listed journals.

In this role, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end publishing process — from identifying the right journals to managing submissions, navigating reviewer feedback, and steering manuscripts to successful publication. You'll bring first-hand experience publishing in reputable peer-reviewed outlets and will use that expertise to mentor and empower researchers to achieve the same.

We're looking for someone who :

Has a strong portfolio of accepted and published articles in recognized journals (not just submissions).
Understands the nuances of journal selection, editorial communication, and revision strategy.
Can work independently yet collaborate effectively with diverse research teams.
Maintains absolute confidentiality and professional discretion.

Publications in outlets flagged by Cabell's Predatory Reports will not be recognized.
