Position Overview
Are you a publishing professional who thrives at the intersection of research excellence and academic strategy We're looking for an Independent Researcher and Publishing Specialist with a proven record of success in Cabell's Journalistic-listed or ABDC-listed journals.
In this role, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end publishing process — from identifying the right journals to managing submissions, navigating reviewer feedback, and steering manuscripts to successful publication. You'll bring first-hand experience publishing in reputable peer-reviewed outlets and will use that expertise to mentor and empower researchers to achieve the same.
We're looking for someone who :
- Has a strong portfolio of accepted and published articles in recognized journals (not just submissions).
- Understands the nuances of journal selection, editorial communication, and revision strategy.
- Can work independently yet collaborate effectively with diverse research teams.
- Maintains absolute confidentiality and professional discretion.
Publications in outlets flagged by Cabell's Predatory Reports will not be recognized.
