JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of the ongoing evolution of our core product lines and an increase in custom projects, we are initiating a QA team to support the critical qualification phase of our development cycle.

We are looking for a QA Lead with 7–10 years of experience in software quality assurance, manual testing, and API testing, who can lead QA efforts across multiple projects. The ideal candidate brings strong testing expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables across a portfolio of projects while mentoring junior QA team members.

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

• Lead QA efforts across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring consistency in quality standards and processes.
• Test Strategy and Planning : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement test strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all product functionalities
• Test Execution : Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for software and multiplatform applications, maintaining high quality standards. Perform API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, etc.
• Defect Tracking : Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla, ensuring effective communication with development teams for prompt resolution.
• Continuous Improvement : Engage in root cause analysis and suggest improvements to enhance product quality and testing efficiency. Drive process improvements and actively contribute to the evolution of QA methodologies and tools.
• Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, junior QAs and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives and timelines.
• Documentation : Produce and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
• Track and report test results, bugs, and overall QA metrics to stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
