Role & responsibilities
Key Accountabilities :
- Interact with customers to understand the requirements and the Scope and approach of the project.
- Pre-processing - Geometry Clean-up in Ansys Spaceclaim, Assigning material properties and Preparation of FE Model includes meshing, Contacts, loads and boundary conditions.
- Post-processing (Interpretation and discussion of FEA Results) Validation of results through sanity checks. Comparing the results against acceptance criteria.
- Design recommendations (if acceptance criteria are not met) : Suggest design changes based on the results to meet acceptance criteria or to optimize the design.
- Peer reviews.
- Preparation of comprehensive analysis reports.
- Interact with customers to update / discuss on project status and deliveries and meeting project timelines
Preferred candidate profile
ME / M Tech (Mechanical / Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering) + Experience : 0 to 1 YearsBE / B Tech (Mechanical / Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering) + Experience : 1 to 2 YearsExperience of carrying out linear and non-linear stress analysis, Thermal analysis and Dynamic analysis (Modal, Forced response and Random Vibration)Good understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) theory and practicesAbility to carry out analytical calculations using engineering fundamentalsAbility to understand and comprehend requirements, understand operating environment of the component and system, define analysis approach with appropriate loads and boundary conditions and define appropriate acceptance criteria.Ability to interpret analysis results and provide design recommendations.Good verbal and written communication skills, Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.Awareness of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, casting, forging and machiningGood Team playerGood proficiency in FEA tools : Spaceclaim, ANSYS Workbench and APDL.Good proficiency in word Excel, PowerPoint.Note : Looking only for FEMALE candidates.
