CNH Industrial - Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Job Purpose :

As a QA / Test Automation Engineer you will join a highly skilled software team in delivering innovative web and API applications that make up CNHs next generation digital platform.

The digital platform will enable products that integrate with connected CNH Industrial tractors, sprayers and combines and enable wide range of farm management capabilities.

Primary responsibilities include working closely with technical product management and product engineering team to gather & understand the testing requirements for the product features being developed.

You will be responsible for manual testing and testing automation of products of our next generation applications and existing product lines.

You will undertake all assigned tasks and responsibilities effectively and professionally in accordance with company, team and engineering team expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work in a team or individually to understand the testing requirements for the product being developed, undertake the manual verification of products and automation of test cases within specified timeframe.
• Analyzing users stories and / use cases / requirements for validity and feasibility.
• Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery.
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Design and develop test automation scripts.
• Help to build fully automated testing pipeline.
• Identifying and escalating any test issues early on to the engineering manager / lead.
• Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
• Following automation testing standards set in the team.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Perform tasks as specified by the Engineering Lead / Team Lead.
• Other related duties as Required :
• 5+ years of industry experience in Testing, Validation using Test Automation tools ; with cross-browser, cross-platform, Web Apps & Mobile Apps for performing different types of tests Regression Testing , Load Testing, Functional Testing.
• Should be able to work independently and take ownership of release or feature testing.
• Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies.
• Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD & BDD.
• Knowledge of Web technologies like HTTP, JS, CSS, SOAP, REST, should have experience in API Automation Testing.
• Moderate to strong programming skills, excellent fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures.
• 4+ years using Git.
• Good understandings / hands on experience with continuous integration tools like Azure Dev Ops / JIRA etc.
• Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development Skills :
• Experience in automated testing using a variety of technologies.
• UI Testing with Playwright / Selenium.
• API Testing with Playwright / Postman / RestAssured.
• BDD with Cucumber.
• Performance Testing with K6 or Locust.
• Strong programming skills in JS / TS, C# .NET.
• Proficient using Azure services.
• Proficient working with SQL / No SQL Database.
• Good working knowledge of Visual Studio, Azure Qualifications :
