Title : Associate Accounting Manager General Ledger

Experience : 68 Years

Shift Timing : 3 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM IST

Role Overview

The Associate Accounting Manager - General Ledger will lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) operations for the APAC region, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close, compliance with accounting standards, and internal control adherence. The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities for the APAC region
  • Ensure timely monthly closing of books as per agreed timelines
  • Review financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP (IGAAP)
  • Prepare and review P&L flux analysis and variance explanations
  • Review and monitor Balance Sheet schedules as per management format
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations including GST, TDS, and Income Tax requirements
  • Review computations for advance tax and self-assessment tax under Income-tax Act, 1961
  • Implement and enforce internal financial controls to maintain data integrity
  • Coordinate with statutory, internal, tax and transfer pricing auditors during audits
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns including GST, income tax, and other applicable taxes
  • Drive accounting process improvements and compliance initiatives
  • Work on ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for finance reporting requirements

Required Skillsets

  • Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant preferred
  • 6-8+ years experience in R2R / General Ledger accounting
  • Strong understanding of IGAAP and accounting principles
  • Hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations
  • Experience in Balance Sheet & P&L review and variance analysis
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and audit processes
  • Experience working with auditors and cross-functional teams
  • ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
