Title - Senior Accountant (UK Accounting)

Location - Pune, Remote - Immediate Joiners Only

Timing : 01.00 PM IST – 10.00 PM IST

Looking for a Senior Accountant who has experience in both UK Bookkeeping and Year end accounting and can guide juniors. ( Candidates from 2 years to 8 years of experience can apply. )

Looking for 2 Junior UK Bookkeeper and UK Year end accountant. (Candidates upto 2 years experience can apply.)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Preparing statutory year-end accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and the Companies Act.
  • Preparing corporation tax computations and liaising with tax teams.
  • Preparing directors’ reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Ensuring accounts are ready for submission to HMRC and Companies House.
  • Assisting with audit files and addressing auditor queries.

Required Skills :

  • Proven experience in year-end accounts preparation for SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
  • Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105.
  • Experience with TaxCalc for corporation tax computations.
  • Proficiency in cloud accounting software : QuickBooks Online, FreeAgent, Xero, or Sage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Familiarity with IRIS, CaseWare, or CCH software.
  • Experience in preparing audit files within an accounting practice.
  • Exposure to working with multi-entity or group structures.
