We are seeking a motivated Service Desk Agent to provide exceptional technical support and ensure smooth IT operations across a 24 / 7 environment. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of incidents and service requests, working closely with internal teams and external customers. You will respond to inquiries via calls and emails, coordinate issue resolution, and escalate complex problems to appropriate support levels. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, multitasking, and working in a dynamic, collaborative environment while contributing to the efficiency and reliability of IT services.
Accountabilities :
- Manage the full lifecycle of incidents and service requests received from internal and external customers.
- Respond promptly to inbound service calls and emails, ensuring high-quality communication.
- Coordinate incident investigation, analysis, and closure by escalating to appropriate L1, L2, and L3 support teams.
- Adhere to all service desk policies and procedures while working rotational shifts.
- Document issues, resolutions, and service requests accurately in ITSM systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service desk efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
University degree or technical / vocational certification in computing, electronics, or a related IT field.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Willingness to work a rotational 24x7 shift schedule.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is desirable.Basic knowledge of Linux, databases, networking, or SAP is a plus.Understanding of ITSM tools, ITIL best practices, or system administration concepts is advantageous.Commitment to learning and growing within the role.Benefits
