Job Description :
The Academic Counsellor will play a key role in engaging with potential students and professionals to guide them through their skill enhancement journey and sell educational products. The candidate will work closely with the Sales and Business Development team under the supervision of a Team Leader, focusing on tele counselling for upskilling courses offered.
Key Responsibilities :
Tele Counselling : Conduct telephonic counselling sessions with prospective students and professionals interested in advancing their careers through upskilling programs.Course Guidance : Provide comprehensive information on available upskilling courses, helping candidates choose the right course based on their educational background, professional experience, and career goals.Lead Management : Manage incoming leads and follow up with potential candidates to convert inquiries into enrollments.Data Recording : Use the Knowledge Process CRM tool to maintain detailed records of counselling sessions, leads, and conversions.Sales Support : Collaborate with the Sales & BD team to meet and exceed daily and weekly targets for student enrollments.Upskilling Advocacy : Act as a representative of ASBS MBA brand, advocating the value of continuous learning and upskilling to current and potential clients.Skills and Competencies :
Strong Communication Skills : Ability to clearly explain course benefits and motivate potential students to take action.Sales Orientation : Prior experience in sales or tele counselling is preferred, with a focus on achieving enrollment targets.Interpersonal Skills : The ability to connect with individuals from various educational and professional backgrounds.Proficiency in Technology : Familiarity with tele counselling tools and CRM systems Call Centre Dialler tools will be an advantage.Problem Solving : Ability to address concerns and questions raised by prospective students regarding course content, fees, or career prospects.Preference : Candidates who are working in education business in similar roles will be preferred.Work Environment :
