Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled Java Production Support Engineer to join our team. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues for Java-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities : Provide L2 / L3 support for Java applications in production environments.
Monitor application health, logs, and performance using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar .
Analyze and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
Collaborate with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements.
Deploy patches and releases in production environments.
Create and maintain support documentation and SOPs.
Participate in on-call rotation and handle critical incidents.
Required Skills : Strong knowledge of Core Java, J2EE , and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).
Hands-on experience with SQL / PL-SQL and relational databases (Oracle / MySQL).
Familiarity with Linux / Unix commands and shell scripting.
Experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, JIRA).
Knowledge of application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss).
Good understanding of production monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Additional Information : Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to work in 24x7 support environment with rotational shifts.
