EKS & Datadog Engineer

EKS & Datadog Engineer – Bangalore or Gurugram (Hybrid)

We are seeking a hands-on EKS + Datadog Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team supporting a major enterprise environment. This is a design and development–focused position - not operational requiring strong technical depth across Kubernetes, AWS, and Observability.

You will take ownership of end-to-end observability setup, monitoring architecture, and infrastructure-as-code delivery, collaborating closely with cross-functional cloud and DevOps teams.

Skills & Experience :

• Deep experience configuring and administering EKS clusters in AWS
• Proven expertise in Datadog and OpenTelemetry (Collector configuration)
• Strong understanding of observability concepts , metrics, traces, and log pipelines
• Hands-on experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch
• Strong proficiency in Terraform, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Scripting skills in Shell and / or Python
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems, networking, storage, and cloud architecture (AWS)
• Experience designing observability pipelines for AWS services (EKS, SQS, Firehose, etc.)
• Familiar with Git, GitHub Actions, and Artifact Registry for CI / CD
• Skilled in maintaining technical documentation, ADRs, and runbooks
