who can design, implement, and manage cloud computing strategies that align with business objectives. This role also involves supporting DHS services as a

Cloud SRE Consultant , ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Strategy Development :

Define and oversee cloud adoption plans and overall strategy.

Architecture Design :

Build secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-based systems.

Cloud Platform Management :

Manage infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments.

Cloud Migration :

Lead migration of applications and data to the cloud.

Deployment & Operations :

Install, configure, and maintain DHS services; ensure smooth Engineering-to-Operations transition.

Automation & Optimization :

Identify automation opportunities to reduce deployment time and MTTR.

Incident Management :

Minimize impact of cyber incidents and ensure service reliability.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

Work closely with DigiOps, GEHC Project Managers, and Lead Service Integrators for successful go-live.

Cost Optimization :

Monitor and optimize cloud spend.

Continuous Improvement :

Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends.

Key Skills & Expertise :

Cloud Platforms :

AWS, Azure, GCP expertise.

Architecture Principles :

Design robust, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems.

Certifications :

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (preferred).

Security & Compliance :

Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.

Strategic Thinking :

Translate business needs into technical solutions.

Problem-Solving & Communication :

Ability to resolve challenges and collaborate effectively
