Job Descriptions – Asst Manager - Corporate Legal
LLB. degree with 3+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably gained in a corporate or in-house legal environment.
They must possess excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to draft professional emails and legal documents.
A high level of analytical thinking and problem-solving capability is essential for effectively handling complex legal issues.
The candidate should be tech-savvy, with proficiency in using legal technology tools, digital platforms, and process automation systems.
They should demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
The role requires someone who can work independently and manage multiple legal matters simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
Hands-on experience in litigation management and dispute resolution is required.
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including international commercial agreements, service contracts, licenses, leases, NDAs, and MOUs.
Ensure all contracts adhere to applicable legal standards and internal company policies.
Provide legal guidance during contract negotiations to safeguard the company’s interests.
Address and resolve labour-related issues in compliance with local and national labour laws.
Support employee-related legal matters such as disciplinary actions, terminations, and grievance handling.
Liaise with labour authorities, government bodies, and external legal counsel for effective resolution of employment-related issues.
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable labour legislation, including the Shops and Establishment Act and Industrial Disputes Act.
Stay informed on regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance updates across the organization.
Identify potential legal risks in operations and transactions, and recommend mitigation strategies.
