Job Role

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Engineer professional at JAK Industries in Chennai. The role involves tasks related to Purchase of Raw Materials, Fasteners, Welding Consumables, etc .

Requirements :

Qualified Mechanical Diploma / Engineering degree holders Required

Knowledge in different grades of raw materials.

Immediate joiners are most preferred.

Should follow the standard requirements of ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 14001 : 2015 & ISO 45001 : 2018.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

RESPONSIBILITY :

• Floating Enquiries for material procurement
• Offer receipt and Price comparison
• Preparation of PO
• Material follow up with Supplier and procurement
• Maintenance of List of Approved Suppliers, Subcontractors / service providers.
• Maintenance of List of Outsourced Processes.
• Maintenance of Supplier Registration & assessment report
• Maintenance of Supplier rating for all the major suppliers & sub contractors.
• Weekly meeting points compilation and status follow up.
• Communicating to the suppliers for follow up of any special requirements from the customer.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 yrs of Experience in Purchase
