Senior OpenText VIM Consultant

Location : Remote (India)

Employment Type : Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior OpenText VIM Consultant with a strong SAP background to join our delivery team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience implementing and supporting OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions in SAP environments. This role requires hands-on expertise in OpenText solutions, SAP integration, and process optimization for accounts payable automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver OpenText VIM implementations and support projects within SAP environments.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of OpenText VIM with SAP FI / MM modules.
  • Design, configure, and optimize workflows for invoice processing, exception handling, and approvals.
  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Document technical designs, configuration steps, and solution architecture.
  • Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of overall SAP experience with a strong focus on OpenText VIM.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end VIM implementations (minimum 2–3 full-cycle projects).
  • Strong integration knowledge with SAP FI (AP processes), MM, and other relevant modules.
  • Hands-on expertise in OpenText content management and invoice automation.
  • Deep understanding of invoice workflows, approval processes, and exception handling.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Exposure to OpenText xECM, Archiving, and Document Access solutions .
  • Experience in working with global clients across multiple industries.
  • Knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA environments.
