Job Title : Equity Research Analyst

Experience Required : Minimum 4 years

Qualification : Must be a CA, CMA, or CFA

Location : 4th Floor, Tower B, Godrej Eternia, Divisa Herbals Pvt. Ltd., Plot No. 70, Industrial Area Phase I, Chandigarh – 160002

Employment Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct in-depth equity and private market research across sectors, including unlisted and pre-IPO companies.
  • Build and maintain financial models and perform valuation analysis using DCF, comparables, and precedent transactions.
  • Critical evaluation of strategic and anchor investment opportunities in IPOs and private placements, supporting due diligence and deal assessment.
  • Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments affecting investments.
  • Prepare investment memos, presentations, and recommendations for internal committees and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with fund managers, investment teams, and external partners (merchant bankers, founders, and advisors) to identify and execute investment deals.
  • Support deal sourcing and pipeline development for private and pre-IPO investments through network and ecosystem engagement.

Required Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong research and analytical skills with proven experience in public, private, or unlisted company evaluation.
  • Deep understanding of valuation techniques for early-stage, growth-stage, and pre-IPO companies.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel analysis, and clear presentation of insights.
  • Ability to interpret financial statements, cap tables, and investor structures across deal stages.
  • Experience in investment memos, deal notes, and due diligence documentation.
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to deliver under tight timelines.
  • Familiarity with tools like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, CrunchBase etc.
  • Prior exposure to anchor or strategic investing is a strong plus.
