Data Architect (f / m / x)

Description

As a Senior Data Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping the bank’s enterprise data landscape—supporting teams in designing, evolving, and implementing data architectures that align with the enterprise target state and enable scalable, compliant, and interoperable solutions. You will also serve as the go-to expert and trusted advisor on what “good” looks like in data architecture, helping to set high standards and drive continuous improvement across the organization. This role is ideal for an experienced data professional with deep technical expertise, strong solution architecture skills, and a proven ability to influence design decisions across both business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Data Architecture & Solution Design

• Support teams in designing, evolving, and implementing data architectures that align with the enterprise target state and enable scalable, compliant, and interoperable solutions.
• Serve as the go-to person for data architecture best practices and standards, helping to define and communicate what good looks like to ensure consistency and quality.
• Lead and contribute to solution architecture for key programs, ensuring architectural decisions are well-documented, justified, and aligned to enterprise principles.
• Work with engineering and platform teams to design end-to-end data flows, integration patterns, data processing pipelines, and storage strategies across structured and unstructured data.
• Drive the application of modern data architecture principles including event-driven architecture, data mesh, streaming, and decoupled data services.
