Profile Description

We're seeking someone to join our team as (Associate) who will work as a hands-on Data Base & Pyspark Developer within the AIDT Data & Services RWMS Squad. This position is focused on delivering tactical and strategic solutions to support the Squad for analysis, processing, and reporting.

WM_Technology

Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include : Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Analytics Intelligence & Data Technology

Analytics, Intelligence and Data Technology (AIDT) enables and drives strategic data initiatives and business capabilities across Wealth Management.

Data & Analytics Engineering

This is Associate position that provides specialist data analysis and expertise that drive decision-making and business insights as well as crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, optimizing data processes for improved data accuracy and accessibility, including applying machine learning and AI-based techniques.

What you'll do in the role :

• Perform all Database related work. Design and develop enterprise level data transformations using Python.
• Analyze Business User Stories and translate them into meaningful tasks.
• Identify potential improvements to the current design / processes.
• Design stable, scalable Application database / data warehouse & Distributed Batch.
• Code and develop the functionality as per the proposed design and requirements.
• Interface with global team of developers and business users.
• Work as part of a banking Agile Squad / Fleet.
• Perform proof of concepts in new areas of development.
• Participate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation).
• Actively contribute and participate in design and architecture discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile Sprint planning sessions.
• Support continuous improvement of automated systems.
