Department : Chartered Accountant  Direct Tax Litigation

Employment Type : Retainership

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drafting and filing of appeals, submissions, and replies to notices under Income Tax Act
  • Handling scrutiny assessments (u / s 143(3)) and reassessment proceedings (u / s 147)
  • Advisory on tax positions, litigation strategy, and compliance
  • Liaison with counsels for ITAT and High Court matters
  • Expertise in corporate tax, TDS issues, search & seizure cases, and penalty proceedings

Experience

Independent Chartered Accountant (Direct Tax Consultant – Retainership Basis)

  • Represent clients before Income Tax Authorities, CIT(A), and ITAT in matters of assessments, appeals, and revisions.
  • Draft legal submissions, written arguments, and responses to departmental notices.
  • Provide strategic advisory on tax litigation, risk management, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with law firms and senior counsels for complex litigation cases.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by offering end-to-end support from notice to closure.
