Job Title : QA Engineer – Network Product Testing(L2 / L3 / L4 / L7)

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 2 to 5 Years

Employment Type : Full-time

Notice Period : Immediate(Must)

Work Mode : On-site

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate QA Engineer with hands-on experience in network product and protocol testing , as well as test automation using Python . The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in networking, testing methodologies, and automation frameworks, with the ability to troubleshoot and deliver high-quality, robust testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform manual and automated testing of networking products and protocols.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based test automation scripts and infrastructure.
  • Follow end-to-end QA processes including test plan design, execution, defect tracking , and reporting.
  • Validate both Layer 2 / 3 protocols and application-level protocols under varied network conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment .

Required Qualifications & Skills :

  • Education : BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MCA in Computer Science, Electronics, or relevant discipline.
  • Experience : 2–5 years in QA / testing of networking products and protocol-level validation.
  • Networking Knowledge : Solid understanding of switching / routing , TCP / IP , L2 / L3 protocols (LACP, STP, BGP, OSPF) , and application protocols (HTTP, DNS, SSL, FTP) .
  • Test Automation : Hands-on experience in Python scripting for automation.
  • Familiarity with traffic generation tools (e.g., IXIA, Avalanche) and packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
