Purpose

We are seeking a forward-thinking Engineering Manager – AI to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI / ML solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in machine learning, hands-on leadership in project delivery, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams toward business-centric AI outcomes.

Key Result Areas and Activities

AI / ML Solution Design and Deployment : Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI / ML models using cloud-native platforms. Apply supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, and Generative AI (e.g., LLMs, agentic workflows) techniques to solve industry-specific challenges. Ensure alignment of technical approaches with business requirements, industry best practices, and enterprise goals

Project Leadership and Execution : Manage end-to-end AI / ML project lifecycle from requirement gathering to production deployment. Oversee the delivery of high-impact data science projects across various industries. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate use cases into technical roadmaps. Drive execution through Agile methodologies and cross-functional coordination

Collaboration with Data Engineering and MLOps : Work closely with data engineering teams to build optimized data pipelines using Delta Lake and Spark . Lead the implementation of MLOps practices for CI / CD, model versioning, automated testing, and monitoring. Enable production-grade AI systems that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable

Insights Communication and Stakeholder Engagement : Translate technical insights into impactful visualizations and narratives for business leaders. Present findings and model outcomes through dashboards, reports, and executive presentations. Champion the adoption of AI by clearly communicating value, risks, and ROI

Innovation and Thought Leadership : Drive continuous innovation within Infocepts’ AI / ML capabilities through R&D and PoCs. Share knowledge through internal forums, white papers, and tech talks. Contribute to the enhancement of AI offerings, tools, and accelerators

Work and Technical Experience

Essential Skills

Strong proficiency in Java , SQL , and machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

Practical experience with Databricks , MLflow , PySpark , and Spark MLlib

Solid understanding of supervised , unsupervised , and deep learning techniques

Familiarity with Generative AI , including LLMs and agentic AI workflows

Strong background in cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP

Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and probabilistic analysis

Experience with AI / ML pipeline orchestration , version control, and monitoring

Desirable Skills

Experience in real-time data processing and cloud-native AI deployment

Contributions to open-source AI projects , tech communities, or academic publications

Experience in developing or integrating LLMs and prompt engineering workflows

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Data Science , Engineering , or a related field

13+ years of hands-on experience in applied AI / ML, including deep learning

Demonstrated experience in leading end-to-end AI / ML projects , including team coordination and stakeholder communication

Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving capabilities

Effective leadership and mentoring skills with a growth mindset

Excellent communication skills—both technical and non-technical
