Summery :

The Survey role involves planning, coordinating, and executing drone-based surveys for

accurate data collection and processing. The position is responsible for preparing monthly

surface plans and working closely with the operations team to support daily excavation,

blasting, and reconciliation activities through precise survey inputs. The role ensures timely and

accurate spatial data to support efficient and safe mining operations.

Roles and Responsibility :

 Plan, coordinate, and execute drone surveys to collect drone data and data processing.

 Preparing the surface plan on every monthly basis.

 Planning and coordination with day the day excavation plan for blasting, excavation and

reconciliation.

 Must have SURPAC software certified with operating experience of minimum 5 year.

 Should individually handle block modelling, resource modelling, pit design and update

plan and section though SURPAC. He should Generate Daily, weekly and monthly Blend

Plan and Excavation Plan through SURPAC.

 Should train other Mining engineers / Mine geologist / Mine planner under him in

SURPAC.

 Practical Operational knowledge of AUTOCAD for preparing plans and section

independently

Qualifications :

 Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Surveying, Civil, Mining, or a related field.

 He shall have knowledge to use drone data to feed surpac software.

 Valid Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (if applicable under DGMS norms).

Experience :

 Minimum 10 years of experience in mining & surveying, with at least 5 years of

experience in drone surveys.

 Familiarity with drone operations.

 Experience in working with excavation and blasting teams in a mining environment is

preferred.
