Timing : 12.00 PM IST – 09.00 PM IST

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong experience in UK accounting and cloud-based bookkeeping systems. This role will support day-to-day finance operations, reconciliations, and assist with VAT and management reporting.

Primary Responsibilities :

Raising and processing sales invoices.

Maintaining QuickBooks Online ledgers and filing systems (Microsoft Teams).

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Performing credit card and bank reconciliations.

Posting petty cash, floats, and directors’ expense claims.

Preparing payment packs for manager approvals.

Posting and reconciling intercompany accounts in multiple currencies.

Revaluating foreign currency balances at month-end.

Assisting account managers with :

VAT return packs (UK experience required)

Tour accounts

Management accounts

Annual accounts

Gathering data for personal and corporate tax returns

Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Required Skills :

Strong bookkeeping experience within a UK accounting environment.

Proficiency in cloud software : QuickBooks Online, FreeAgent, Xero, or Sage.

Knowledge of bank reconciliations, AP / AR processes, and UK VAT.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have :

Experience with multi-currency reconciliations.

Familiarity with TaxCalc or other UK tax software.

Experience in a practice environment or supporting multiple clients.
