About the Role

Design, develop, test, and validate electronic systems for IVI / Digital Cockpit ECU, Displays such as Digital Cluster, HUD, IVI Center Display including their peripherals and communication network. Key responsibilities involve creating schematics and PCB layouts, selecting components, collaborating with software teams for integration, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the transition from prototype to mass production.

Work Location : India, Willing to travel

Education : Diploma / Bachelor / Masters degree in Engineering

Language : English, Business Japanese (N3 or above)

Key Responsibilities

  • Create hardware designs, including schematics and PCB layouts, component selection for digital cockpit / IVI ECUs, Displays, audio system
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and with suppliers to ensure quality standards and project requirements are met
  • Lead design reviews to investigate and solve complex hardware issues and failures
  • Ownership of all specifications and reports
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables

Work Experience

  • Proficiency with hardware design tools
  • Understanding and implementation of communication protocols like MIPI, LVDS, DPI, HDMI, UART, CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet etc
  • Knowledge of memory management, interrupts, and driver development
  • Understanding and implementing thermal solutions for electronic devices.
  • Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testing (DFT) processes, as well as industry regulations like FCC, CE, RoHS, UL and ISO standards (26262, 21434 etc).
  • Project management skills to handle timelines and deliverables
  • Japanese - N3 and above
