Job Title : SCM / Purchase Engineer
Experience : 3–5 Years
Qualification : 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchase, or Procurement within a manufacturing setup.

Job Summary :
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SCM / Purchase Engineer to manage procurement, vendor development, and supply chain coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience in production purchasing, material planning, supplier negotiations, and BOM management within engineering or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage procurement activities based on Bill of Materials (BOM) for production and R&D departments.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers; send RFQs and compare technical and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors.
- Release and track Purchase Orders (P.O.s) to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to meet project timelines.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure compliance with quality and cost standards.
- Monitor ERP systems for material requisitions, purchase tracking, and supplier performance.
- Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Handle procurement for items like electrical, mechanical, hardware, consumables, and raw materials.
Required Skills & Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).Strong knowledge of ERP systems, RFQ process, and BOM management.Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.Exposure to vendor management, inventory control, and engineering documentation.Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :
Experience with EPDM or similar engineering document management tools.Familiarity with fabrication, EDM, and CNC machining operations.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
