Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage civil projects from inception to completion within the Power / Energy sector
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these parameters
  • Supervise and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities related to civil project requirements
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare regular project status reports and communicate updates to senior management and stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging practices in civil project management

  • Qualifications

    Education Qualification :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Project Management or related discipline (preferred)
  • Experience

  • 8-10 years of experience in the Power / Energy industry
  • Prior experience in managing civil projects is required
  • Demonstrated track record of successful project execution and team management
  • Skills Required

    Feasibility studies and cost estimations, Regulatory requirements and building codes, Project management tools and software, Civil engineering principles and practices
