Job Summary :
The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage accounting functions independently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger.
- Prepare and review journal entries, trial balance, and financial statements.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances including returns, payments, and reconciliations.
- Oversee vendor and customer account reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory valuation and coordinate with stores and purchase departments.
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle audit requirements and liaise with internal / external auditors.
- Manage payroll accounting and employee reimbursement processes.
- Support management in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
- Guide and supervise junior accounting staff.
