About the position
The Fixed Equipment Integrity Engineer is part of the Reliability and Integrity organization at the Chevron ENGINE Center and provides support to Chevrons Shale and Tight (S&T) assets. This role manages the progress and close out asset integrity (AI) inspection findings. Interfaces with AI Inspectors Operations and Facilities Engineering ensuring operability and reliability of assets is maintained through the life of the facility.
Chevron ENGINE supports global operations and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM or 1 : 30 PM to 10 : 30 PM Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.
Key responsibilities
Making visible monthly reporting of backlog integrity threats.
Developing the Fixed Equipment Asset Strategies in support of safe and reliable operation of Chevrons Shale and Tight (S&T) facilities.
Conduct risk assessments and failure mode analysis to identify potential integrity threats. Develop mitigation plans to address identified risks and enhance asset reliability.
Plan and coordinate regular inspections and monitoring activities for piping pipelines pressure vessels and other critical infrastructure.
Analyze inspection and monitoring data to assess asset condition and performance. Provide recommendations for maintenance repair or replacement to ensure asset integrity.
Ensure all asset integrity activities comply with relevant industry regulations standards and company policies. Prepare and maintain necessary documentation and reports for regulatory compliance.
Work closely with engineering operations and maintenance teams to integrate integrity management practices into daily operations. Provide technical support and guidance on asset integrity issues.
Identify opportunities for improving asset integrity management practices. Implement innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance asset performance and longevity.
Tracking integrity threats to closure collaborates with process engineers to complete pressure relief device (PRD) calculations for equipment de-rates and fitness for service (FFS) assessments.

To be considered for this role applicants should have :
Degree in relevant Engineering or Maintenance Discipline with 5-10 years of relevant industry experience.
Proven experience in asset integrity management or fixed equipment engineering preferably within the oil and gas industry with a focus on Shale and Tight assets.
In-depth knowledge of fixed equipment design maintenance and inspection techniques as well as industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Technical Qualifications :
Design & Analysis : Skilled in the basic design and assessment of fixed equipment like pressure vessels heat exchangers process piping tanks and pipelines.
Inspection Techniques : Proficient in basic and advanced NDE techniques
Corrosion Management : Knowledgeable in corrosion prevention and mitigation strategies.
Regulatory Knowledge : Familiar with industry standards and regulations (API ASME NACE OSHA) related to asset integrity and safety.
Software Skills :
Engineering Tools : Proficient in AutoCAD CAESAR II or similar design software
Asset Management : Advanced skills in SAP PM Maximo or equivalent platforms
Data Analysis : Competent in tools like Excel and Power BI for data analysis.
