Responsibilities in the Job

The role incumbent is responsible for working in team of technical services for technology absorption of the new plants coming up at DCTL, reviewing data packages and providing input to support smooth startup during commissioning. Ensuring preparation / review of the schemes / technical support for the smooth operation of the existing plant and to prepare / review the technical schemes against the improvement ideas of various plants at DCTL; Monitoring the success of the schemes implemented.

The activities performed by the incumbent include :

Responsibility :

• Absorbing the New Plants Technology coming up at DCTL in terms of BEP absorption & assisting Head / Lead – TSD for changes, if any, to ensure smooth commissioning.
• Preparation of scheme (PD, PFD, PID, PDS / IPDS etc.) for improvement initiatives in existing and upcoming plant / product.
• Data collation for DCTL on EC / CTE / CCA, from data integrity viewpoint. Monitoring and analysis of data and providing input for compliance.
• Reviewing / Preparation of the schemes for the Plant / Process / Equipment performance improvements.
• Provide / update the SOPs for any new change in process or equipment operation.
• Preparation of capex proposals on savings and payback period for new modifications in the plant to improve operating convenience in the plant.
• Supporting operation team for Management of Change (MOC) by providing schemes with complete technical backup.
• Ideation, detailing and implementation of continual improvement in QCDSE (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety & Environment).
• Evaluating existing production norms and proposal preparation for meeting and improving norms.
