Job Title : Assistant Manager / Manager – Human Resources / Real Estate Industry

Location : Mylapore, Chennai

Experience Required : 5 – 8 years

Industry Preference : Real Estate / Property Development / Construction

Salary Package : ₹5 LPA

About the Role :

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – HR to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Recruitment, Payroll Management, and End-to-End HR Operations , preferably within the real estate industry . The role requires a proactive professional who can manage HR processes efficiently while supporting the company’s growth and people strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition :

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and workforce planning.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of talent through job portals, networking, and referrals.

Payroll & Compliance :

  • Handle end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Liaise with finance for timely salary disbursement and reconciliation.
  • HR Operations & Employee Engagement :

  • Manage employee lifecycle activities — onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, and exits.
  • Oversee attendance, leave management, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Implement and support HR policies, employee engagement initiatives, and welfare programs.
  • Ensure smooth HR audits and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Learning & Development :

  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external training programs.
  • Support career development initiatives and performance management cycles.
  • Key Requirements :

  • Education : Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience : 5 – 8 years of HR experience, preferably in the real estate or construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment , payroll , and HR operations .
  • Familiarity with HRMS systems and MS Office tools .
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
