Job Summary :
The Document Services Specialist performs document control by creating, reviewing, and editing documents before they are sent to clients. These tasks involve editing, formatting, creating, revising, and converting documents using various applications.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Create, revise, reformat, and convert documents using various support software including Microsoft Office applications and PDF editing tools.
- Prepare and edit complex documents, spreadsheets, and charts.
- Efficient handling of time sensitive and confidential materials.
- Perform document diagnostic activities related to troubleshooting documents inconsistencies.
- Work with PDFs using Adobe, Kofax, and ABBYY software as needed.
- Utilize spell check, grammar check, and Excel formatting to ensure document consistency and accuracy.
- Communicate professionally with customers via email.
Qualifications & Requirements
Any bachelor s degree or equivalent.1+ year of experience in a legal document production environment.Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of PDF software such as Adobe, Kofax, or ABBYY is preferred.Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments effectively.Initiative and good judgment to accomplish results efficiently.Ability to perform under pressure within established timeframes while delivering high-quality work.Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management.Skills Required
