Job descriptionStrong communication skills (Verbal and Written). Ability to work independently and within a team. Adaptability, Proactive, and work ethic, Cross-functional collaboration. Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell. Experienced in managing Windows and Linux environments, and virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix. Skilled in using automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins. Hands-on experience with monitoring and reporting tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana. Knowledgeable in version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab), enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault), and security practices like system hardening and patch management. Familiar with networking concepts including VLANs, VPNs, DNS, and load balancing. Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an added advantage.
Description : Responsibilities :
- Design and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for infrastructure operations.
- Automate VM lifecycle management, storage configuration / provisioning, and server configuration / patching.
- Support and optimize Windows / Linux servers, VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix environments.
- Develop self-healing, monitoring, and reporting automation to improve Infrastructure performance and uptime.
- Implement automated backup, disaster recovery, and security hardening processes.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and deliver automation-driven solutions.
- Document automation frameworks, scripts, and standard operating procedures.
