Data Center Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Center Engineer. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cisco Nexus technologies and a proven ability to design, optimize, and secure large-scale enterprise datacenter networks.

As a key technical contributor, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring network resiliency, scalability, and operational efficiency in complex environments, while driving innovation through automation and modern datacenter practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and manage advanced datacenter networking solutions built on Cisco Nexus platforms (NX-OS, Nexus 5K / 7K; Nexus 9K exposure is a plus).
• Configure and troubleshoot advanced Cisco datacenter technologies, including :
• Virtual Port Channel (vPC) for high availability and load balancing
• Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV) for Layer 2 extension
• FabricPath for scalable and resilient Layer 2 networking
• Ensure continuous availability, security, and performance of datacenter network infrastructure.
• Perform capacity planning, proactive monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Leverage automation and scripting (Python preferred) to streamline operations, reduce manual intervention, and enhance operational consistency.
• Actively contribute to incident management, root cause analysis, and change control processes.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including network topology, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align solutions with enterprise standards and best practices.
