Role Overview
We are seeking a Techno-Functional PeopleSoft HCM Consultant to support Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Time & Labor modules. The consultant will bridge business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring smooth HR processes, integrations, and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Configure and enhance Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Time & Labor modules.
Develop interfaces, reports, bolt-on applications, and custom solutions using People Tools technologies (Integration Broker, People Code, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Application Package, Workflow, BI Publisher, SQR).
Support third-party integrations with ADP Payroll, Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, OnBase, and others.
Lead and participate in testing cycles (unit, system, integration, UAT, parallel, performance).
Provide functional and technical production support, including 24x7 on-call assistance.
Ensure secure file transfers (PSFTP, SSH, Cygwin) and manage PGP encryption / decryption for data exchange.
Create and manage SQL / Oracle scripts for data validation, performance tuning, and reporting.
Work on PeopleSoft Process Scheduler, Autosys scheduling, and migration tools like STAT.
Adhere to coding standards, security, performance, and scalability best practices.
Engage in project management activities, including stakeholder communication, status reporting, and team coordination.
Required Skills
Strong functional expertise in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor).
Hands-on technical skills in People Tools (Integration Broker, Application Engine, People Code, Component Interface, Workflow, Approval Framework, Application Package, BI Publisher, SQR).
Deep understanding of HR processes and ability to provide functional support and advisory.
Experience in end-to-end project lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment.
Solid knowledge of third-party integrations with payroll and HR applications.
Strong background in SQL, Oracle databases (9i / 10g / 11g), SQL Server 2012.
Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent.
