Job description

We, at ZakApps, are looking to on-board an experienced AI Analyst to be part of our AI development team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a 2 to 8 years of experience in Business Analysis, with a strong background in Software Testing. The candidate should possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills as it is a client facing role.

This role requires the candidate to act as the bridge between our clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood, translated into actionable tasks, and tested effectively for quality delivery.

Should be able to join us within the next few weeks and work from our office in Ashok Nagar, Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into functional specifications.
  • Support and participate in testing (functional, integration, UAT) to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, managing expectations and clarifying requirements.
  • Prepare clear documentation, reports, and user guides for stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure alignment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
  • Masters in Business Administration or Data Analysis with the foundations in Computer Science would be an added advantage
  • 2–6 years of experience in Testing, QA, or Software Business Analysis.
  • Strong requirement gathering, documentation, and functional testing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities—both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage client interactions confidently and professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn emerging technologies.

  • Exposure to AI / ML concepts, data analytics, or automation tools (not mandatory).
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
