Business Analyst – Reconciliation / Fund Accounting

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Reconciliation Team within Portfolio Accounting. The team ensures accurate daily cash and stock positions for a diverse range of financial products. This role is critical to enhancing reconciliation processes, collaborating closely with operations and technology teams to define and implement future-state solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current-state reconciliation processes and workflows, including hand-offs with Custody, Middle Office, and Global teams.
• Gather business requirements, draft BRDs, and drive end-to-end execution of technology and process enhancements.
• Act as a liaison between Business Operations and Technology teams to translate business needs into actionable system requirements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation including current / future state requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and scalability within reconciliation processes.
• Design, test, and implement new operational procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Assemble and present process status reports and improvement proposals to senior management.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistent workflows and control improvements.
• Maintain strong communication and stakeholder management through regular updates and follow-ups.
• Perform reconciliations of cash accounts between external custodians and internal accounting records.
