Senior Manager - US Accounting

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Manager – U.S. Accounting

to lead and manage end-to-end accounting operations for U.S.-based clients. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, QuickBooks, and tax compliance, along with proven leadership and review experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee daily accounting, bookkeeping, and month-end close for U.S. clients.

Review work of accounting teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Handle financial reporting, reconciliations, and year-end adjustments.

Ensure compliance with

U.S. GAAP

and client-specific policies.

Guide and mentor team members; ensure timely deliverables and quality control.

Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders for issue resolution.

Support process improvements, training, and automation initiatives.

Requirements : Education :

CA / CPA.

Experience :

Minimum 8 years in U.S. accounting and tax; 3+ years in a managerial / review role.

Strong knowledge of

QuickBooks ,

Excel , and U.S. accounting software.

Excellent understanding of

U.S. GAAP , bookkeeping, and taxation principles.

Strong leadership, communication, and review skills.

Ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Skills :

Experience managing teams for U.S. clients in BPO / KPO setup.

Exposure to accounting software like

NetSuite, Xero, or Sage .

Experience in

process standardization and client communication .
