Hiring : Instrumentation Technician

Location : Ahmedabad & Ankleshwar (Gujarat)

Client : ONGC

Experience : 3+ Years

Key Responsibilities :

Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instruments (flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, level transmitters, control valves).

Conduct periodic calibration of instruments as per ISO, NABL, and plant standards.

Install, commission, and configure flow meters (electromagnetic, ultrasonic, turbine, vortex).

Verify instrument accuracy and maintain calibration documentation.

Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation issues during plant operations.

Maintain calibration tools, records, and ensure traceability.

Support shutdown, preventive maintenance, and condition monitoring.

Coordinate with vendors / external agencies for certification & re-calibration.

Prepare SOPs, logs, and calibration schedules.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality & environmental standards.

Support process optimization and energy efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation (mandatory).

3–5 years of experience in instrument calibration & flow meter maintenance (preferably in oil & gas, chemical, or manufacturing).
