Linux Video Lead

Key Responsibilities : Lead the design and development of Linux-based video driver architecture and user-space frameworks.Own the enablement and optimization of hardware video codecs (VPU / GPU), including H.264, H.265 / HEVC, VP9, AV1, etc.Develop and maintain V4L2-based drivers, media controller interfaces, and buffer management frameworks.Integrate and optimize video frameworks such as GStreamer, FFmpeg, or OpenMAX.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless video driver integration and performance tuning.Required Skills & Experience : Strong hands-on experience in embedded Linux multimedia or video driver development.Expertise with V4L2, DRM / KMS, and video codecs (hardware & software).Deep understanding of Linux kernel architecture, memory management, and device tree.Proficiency in C / C++ and scripting languages such as Bash or Python.Experience in video framework integration : GStreamer, FFmpeg, or OpenMAX.Location : BangaloreExperience : 7-12 Years
