Junior Accountant - Fresher

Looking for a Dynamic Junior Accountant Candidate for an E-commerce brand from Bengaluru!

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with Financial Management: Support the day-to-day financial operations of both the parent jewellery company and its franchises, learning the basics of financial management and accounting practices.

• Learning Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets for various departments and franchises, gaining exposure to the budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Assisting with Financial Reporting: Aid in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, under the guidance of senior accountants.

• Taxation and Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, including GST, income tax, and other relevant tax laws, while learning from experienced professionals in the field.

• Participating in Auditing: Provide support during the auditing process, working closely with external auditors and gaining insight into the auditing procedures within the jewellery industry.

• Learning Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting basic financial analysis to identify trends and risks, contributing to the overall financial analysis efforts of the team.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant internships or coursework in accounting would be advantageous.
• A strong eagerness to learn and understand accounting principles and practices within the context of the jewellery industry.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and a willingness to develop a deeper understanding of relevant Indian accounting standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with basic financial software and Microsoft Excel, with a keen interest in developing analytical and technical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to learning, and a passion for contributing to the financial success of the company.
• Well-versed in multiple languages (preferably, English and Hindi)
