Deputy Manager Quantity Surveyor

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ includes Civil, Interiors, Façade and MEP for both Green & Brown field projects.
• Co-ordinate and Support both pre and post tender QS and purchase team for material supplies and technical clarifications for any awarded job.
• Prepare rate analysis and a strong knowledge in the market rates.
• Maintain confidentiality & Integrity on all Project costs and Budgets.
• Assist the Contracts manager in Pre-qualification process of the vendor
• Assist the Contracts Manager to prepare and track the Cash Flow & Cost control
• Assist Contracts manager during weekly meeting for scope inclusion, exclusions, duration, penalties and risks.
• Attending meetings with the Line manager to close out the technical and commercial evaluation of the contractors.
• Assist Line manager to prepare the technical and commercial comparatives.
• Assist the line manager to call and attend the negotiation meetings, take meeting notes and officially circulate it to all stake holders.
• Prepare and maintain material tracker, weekly & monthly cost forecasts.
• Maintain the contracts and purchase orders.
• Maintain the historical records of budget vs achieved.
• Mandatory working knowledge in AUTOCAD, MS Project.

Preferred candidates :

B.E Civil Engineering with minimum 10 - 12 years of relevant experience.
