About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Software Test Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in manual testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle, test case design, and defect tracking. Experience or exposure to automation testing will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Perform - manual testing - of web and mobile applications.
Write, review, and execute - test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts
Identify, document, and track defects / bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure
quality standards are met.
Participate in regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and UAT
Contribute to test documentation including test plans and test reports.

automation test scripts

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

1–2 years of hands-on experience in manual testing

Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

Experience with test management / bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

Basic understanding of SQL for database testing

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have (Plus Point)

Exposure to

automation testing tools

(e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cypress).

Knowledge of

API testing

(e.g., Postman, RestAssured).

Familiarity with

CI / CD pipelines

and version control (Git).
