SVKM’s NMIMS Bangalore invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor- Law at the School of Law. We seek dynamic candidates with a passion to contribute to academic excellence, innovation, and student development in a collaborative environment.

Job Title : Assistant Professor - Law

Location : School of Law, NMIMS Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures, case discussions, and practical sessions.
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research, and publish in reputed national and international journals.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation processes, and academic committees.
  • Foster an environment of experiential learning, innovation, and analytical thinking among students.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, student mentoring, and institutional events.
  • Guide and mentor students in projects, internships, dissertations, and research activities.

Qualifying Criteria

Essential

  • Master’s Degree in a related discipline with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade, with a good academic record.
  • The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or SLET / SET accredited by the UGC.

    • OR

  • The candidate should hold a Doctorate in the relevant area of specialization.

    • Desirable

    Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching, research, industrial, and / or professional roles in a reputed organization.

  • Papers presented at conferences and / or published in referred journals.

    • Desired Skills

  • Strong academic and research orientation with a passion for teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
