IIT Mandi iHub and HCi Foundation : About iHub : IIT Mandi iHub and HCi Foundation (iHub) is a section 8 company established under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber- Physical Systems (NM-ICPS). The focus area of IIT Mandi iHub is “Human-Computer Interaction.”

• Lead the technology vision and strategy for the organization in the stated area of Human Centered AI.
• Oversee the development and execution of technology projects, ensuring they align with business objectives. The projects could be customer led projects, and strategic projects of the iHub.
• Build and manage a high-performing technology team. The team would comprise experts in Computer Vision and AI ML, Perception Engineering and Generative AI.
• Monitor and assess emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of the technology infrastructure and platforms.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to set long-term business goals and strategies, integrating technology solutions to support these objectives.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating research and technical understanding relating to business goals.
• Manage budgets for technology departments, ensuring cost-effective technology solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security regulations, and legal requirements related to technology.
• Be abreast of the trends in technologies in Human-Centered AI while guiding the organization’s vision.
